About Us
The village of Brundall lies on the North bank of The River Yare, the village is famous for its boat building and boat hire exploring the glorious waterways which provide beautiful overnight mooring and excellent fishing. If you wish to leave the boat or car for the day, you can take the short trip by train or local bus into Norwich or perhaps enjoy a day at the seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, which is ten miles away. There are nature reserves nearby which offer good bird watching, and there are plenty of walks and cycle routes in the area. There are shops, and pubs which serve food, in this large village among many other facilities.
There are many period buildings in the village, with the Ram public house probably being the oldest. St Laurence Church at the very core of Brundall dates back to 1250 with later additions. It features a small roundel of St. Laurence set in the stained glass windows and notably a 13th century lead case font, the only one of its kind in Norfolk.
